TvL DECADE COLLECTORS BOX – THE LEGEND: A DECADE IN A BOX

To commemorate ten years of the TvL Raven and Octavia, Dr. No began work on a Decade Edition Box – a tribute for Troy Van Leeuwen and himself to celebrate a decade of building the TvL Series.

Originally, only two were to exist. One for Troy, one for Dr. No.

But while at it, Dr. No created eight more. For the true connoisseur. For the collector who appreciates rare, exclusive art of an unparalleled level of detail and handcraft and sonic architecture.

What started as a tribute quickly escalated into obsession.

For the past four months, Dr. No has been building, entirely by hand, a fully handmade artistic collector’s edition. A gorgeous handmade wooden box featuring silkscreened artwork, sculpted and tin-cast Raven skull feet, and a fully flocked custom inlay.

Each handmade box contains:

The two legendary TvL effects – Raven and Octavia – as well as the new Blameshifter. Plus a trove of artifacts: a TvL seal stamp, a custom candle holder cast from solder tin, a custom-made candle, and more.

It was while building this box that the third idea emerged. The newest released collaboration with Troy van Leeuwen, The BLAMESHIFTER. (Now separately available HERE.

Issued once. Edition of only 10. (Only 8 available for collectors) One owned by Troy van Leeuwen and one to add to Dr. No’s archive.

Entirely handmade. Never to be repeated.

Become one of the rare owners of one of the 8 available functional sonic art pieces – destined to reach full cult status once they are gone.

Description

The TvL Decade Edition Collector’s Box
10 Years of Troy Van Leeuwen & Dr. No Effects.
Limited to 10 pieces worldwide. (Only 8 Available)

In 2016, Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age) and Dr. No Effects created two modern classics: the TvL Raven and TvL Octavia. Ten years later, they reunite for something that was never supposed to exist.

What started as a simple Decade Edition Box became a four-month obsession in the Dr. No Lab.

A Box Built Like an Instrument.

Each Decade Box is constructed from solid wood, with a custom two-color flocked inlay designed to hold the pedals like jewels. The four feet are hand-cast in solid tin, cast from the original Raven skull and the very first unused TvL prototypes from 2016 — a true piece of history.

Inside: The Complete Handmade TvL Series.

The Raven — The dark, atmospheric reverb / octave / filter that became Troy’s secret weapon. 100% handmade.
The Octavia — The screaming, octave fuzz inspired by vintage Octavia circuits, rebuilt with Dr. No madness. 100% handmade.
The Blameshifter — NEW. Unveiled for the first time in this box. A 4-output buffered A/B and dual effects loop switcher. Send your signal to three amps, create two switchable loops, run A+B. Born from an old QOTSA rehearsal joke about shifting blame for a wrong note to the other guy’s amp. Features the iconic severed finger pointer.

All three pedals are fully handmade from A to Z by Dr. No himself in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Hidden in the Secret Compartment:

This is more than a pedal box. Open the hidden drawer and find:
A candle holder cast in solder tin, molded from a French castle gargoyle
A custom handmade beeswax candle
A custom TvL seal stamp with real sealing wax
Exclusive TvL guitar picks and stickers
Dr. No goodies: picks, stickers, buttons

Strictly Limited: Edition of 10. Only 8 Available.

Two boxes are owned by Troy Van Leeuwen and Dr. No himself and will never be sold. Only eight will ever be available to the public. Each box is numbered, signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

For the collector who has everything, except the thing that only 10 people will ever own.
